Parents/Guardians of Jesse D. Scott Elementary:
Please take a moment and complete the Safe Routes to School (SRTS) survey regarding your students' mode of travel to and from school. The survey is for parents with students in grades K-12. If you have more than one child in the Clark County School District (CCSD), attending the same school, please complete one survey for the eldest student.
The survey asks you to check areas that affected your decision to allow your child to walk/bike to school. With this information, we can advance the safety education programs we bring to our school and improve areas along walking/bike routes to your child's school.
Surveys are in English and provide a Spanish option.

PARENTS MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

At Jesse D. Scott, students, parents and staff will share responsibility for the development of a school-wide community which promotes a safe environment for all students. Parents and community are the most important stakeholders. Parents are encouraged to volunteer in classrooms and participate in school-wide events and activities.
If you are interested in volunteering at school, we ask that you follow the procedure below. In order to make sure that our students are safe at all times, we have instituted a new procedure that requires that all adults who have direct contact with our students be cleared through our Human Resources department prior to having any contact with students.

1. Go to www.ccsd.net.
2. Click on the word Employees at the top of the page.
3. Under the word Prospective Employees Information, click on the blue hyperlink Job Application Process.
4. Click on the fourth box down, Substitutes (Guest Teachers, Substitute Support Staff, and Coaches).
5. Click on the blue hyperlink, Apply Now.
Once you have been cleared by Human Resources, a CCSD Volunteer badge will be issued. No volunteer will be allowed on campus, in contact with students, until they have a CCSD badge. Thank you for understanding.
