Jesse D. Scott Elementary School rejoices in the life of our namesake, Rev. Jesse D. Scott, our warmest condolences to his family and friends. Rev. Scott has left a legacy for all to look up to and emulate. He is a man of hard work, integrity and service to all mankind. His life's mission to bring equality and peace has been felt by those whose lives he has touched. He definitely touched those of us at Jesse D. Scott Elementary School.
It is not good bye but hello to living the legacy he has left behind. May we all be better people than we were yesterday as we strive to treat each other with respect, tolerance, equality and understanding? Through this, we will live the life Rev. Scott hoped for all.
